Message All I can say about this mod is wow. In short (for those that don't want to actually take the time to read the review) just get this product if you don't have it.

With a price tag of $35 from Coz (and a recommendation from Bernie), you just can't go wrong with this product. It's a simple 2-5 minutes of labor. Remove the two screws holding the fuel filter, slip the brace under, use the two new screws provided and fasten. Then, adjust (by hand) the adjustment bolt till it touched the Brake MC and tighten down the lock bolt. Done and done.

Got right into the Z and took a ride. All I can say is that there is a very noticeble difference in the feel of the brake pedal. The first 1 1/2 in. - 2 in. of brake pedal is where you can slow down at a very slow rate of deceleration (i.e. gently). After that, the pedal is much more firm and applies a more consistent brake pressure. Hence, bye bye spoongy, mushy feeling that we get from the flex in the firewall and now the car feels much better under hard braking.

All-in-all, a great product and you just can't go wrong with it (hey, it's only $35). Now, to get those StopTech SS brake lines on and I bet the brakes will feel even that much better.
